Why Blogging?

When Sun introduced first EJB version I tried to learn and write a sample application. I felt most of the things doesn’t make sense it is cumbersome for development and deployment. I told to my colleagues that EJB will not succeed in the market but no one believed me. Later one of my friend gave me a book called “J2EE development without EJB”, Rod Johnson. Most of my thoughts matching with Rod’s view I felt happy that my views matching with Rod’s view at the same time I felt bad too as none of my colleague recognized my views/thoughts. Hence I decided to write some articles to express my views in more clear manner (at that time I don’t know about blogging). I wrote an article on the topic “Distributed vs. Non-distributed architecture” and gave to my manager. Since the article is against EJB he didn’t want to publish as it will affect their marketing and customer attraction. My friend Mohan started a blog with that admiration I started my blogging.

Initially I started my blogging to criticize over hypes like EJB, later I started sharing my experience and findings at work. A small part of me, however, was selfishly hoping for admiration and affirmation. As I am documenting my experience it helps me as well as my friends. Many times I refer my blog to find a particular site link/example when needed.

Hope you all find my blogging useful. Feel free share your thoughts on my blog.
